Our Mission at Apple Pi. 

Our mission with Apple Pi School is to give parents real help and encouragement to thrive as individuals. We offer some vital peace of mind by providing an academically rich and emotionally/behaviorally deeply nurturing place to bring their children.

 

We believe in the importance of work for adults and play (which is work) for children.  

It’s vital for adults to be able to thrive in their vocations and have a wonderful place for their children to be and learn. 

 

People of all ages thrive on challenge and accomplishment, and we live by that here. 

 

We are here to serve both the parents and the children. Parents: We at Apple Pi are your biggest fan! Parents have the best ideas and we always speak glowingly of you. 

Parents can go to work - and it’s wonderful. Children can go to school - and it’s wonderful! We are always eager to discuss any ideas, suggestions, questions or concerns that you might have. 

 

You, the parent, are the most important person in the world to your child. They will grow up to be like you, we want to help you enjoy the journey and give your child the tools they need to have a marvelous life, in school and beyond. 

 

Requirements. 

We cannot take children younger than two years of age.

Children must be reasonably able to: 

• Follow instructions. 

• Handle the bathroom independently, including handwashing.  

• Dress/undress themselves. (Jackets/sweaters, shoes/socks, to use the bathroom.)

(All of this within reason, they’re children, not robots.)

Carol Cole holds a lifetime teaching certificate from the state of California. She has taught all grades (K-12) and her favorite by far is early childhood education AKA Preschool. 

 

Caty Cole is the administrator/all purpose assistant. (Also, she is one of Carol’s three daughters.)

Fun fact: Apple Pi has become a bit of an after-hours social spot for the families of the students. (This happened with Carol’s previous schools as well.) We hope to expand on this aspect of things and start having actual “Parent Parties” sometime soon!
